On June 10, 2025, the Supreme Court of Missouri issued an Opinion in a case that Edelman, Liesen & Myers has been litigating for over a decade.
R.M.A. vs Blue Springs R-IV School District was tried in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, where a jury unanimously found that our client, R.M.A., had been discriminated against based on his sex under the terms of the Missouri Human Rights Act.
The recent Opinion by the Supreme Court of Missouri has been reported on in the media, leading to many questions about the impact of the Opinion on the rights of all Missourians.
